List the licences and registrations your activity may need from the official pages, for your council to confirm
The problem
The only evidence in the webinar write-up is a line of advice to get the necessary licences if you serve food or alcohol, and that is easy to nod at and hard to do because the rules sit on different official pages in each nation. AI can lay out a checklist from the official pages you paste: what the page says about registering a food business, applying for an alcohol licence or other permission, and the order to do things. It cannot say that you need or do not need a licence, what a hygiene rating will be or what conditions the council will set: your local authority's food team and licensing team confirm.
What AI does
AI turns your plan and the official pages you paste into an ordered to-do list and the questions to raise with your council. It does not say whether you need a licence: your council's food and licensing teams confirm that.
Time
The steps, in short
- Describe the planned activity in plain words.
- Copy the matching section from your nation's official guidance page.
- Have AI build a checklist and questions from that text only.
- Ask your council to confirm, and keep their written answers.
A short sample prompt
From the official guidance text and my plan below, list the actions in the order to do them, then the questions to put to my council. Don't say whether I need any licence. Plan: [plan] Official text: [paste]
