Turn a client's wishes into a planting shortlist
The problem
Clients say "something colourful, low maintenance, good for bees". AI turns that into a shortlist you can refine with your plant knowledge.
What AI does
AI turns a client's description of the garden they want, plus your notes on the site, into a first shortlist of plants. You use your own plant knowledge to check and change every choice before the client sees it.
Time
The steps, in short
- Record the site conditions and what the client has asked for.
- Have AI suggest a starting shortlist with a reason for each plant.
- Check each plant yourself for the site, availability and any pet or invasive-species concerns.
- Turn the checked list into options to show the client.
A short sample prompt
Suggest a first shortlist of plants for a border with these conditions: [aspect, soil, size and exposure]. The client wants [their wishes, in a few words]. For each plant give its name and one line on why it might suit. I will check every plant myself.
